RDJ Consult, LLC was formed in April 2014 by Roger Jennings. After 27 years of learning, growing, and delivering, Roger followed his passion to share his knowledge and experiences with others in assisting them in their growth and performance.
Roger has over 30 years of experience in the IT project and services industry. Starting his career as a computer operator/programmer, Roger progressed through the roles of programmer analyst, business analyst, project leadership, and project management, providing a solid foundation for his management, leadership, and director level positions held over the last 20 years. Roger has successfully delivered operationally, and repeatedly led organizational improvements in the areas of quality product development, project management, business analysis, employee development, and operations.
Roger’s career focus has been split between IT areas within several organizations, and in the consulting industry performing and managing software development, outsourcing, and change management. Roger has a proven track record in all environments for delivering projects on time, within budget, according to the agreed-upon scope, and with a high degree of customer satisfaction. He knows the processes to be effective in project management, the techniques for thorough requirements elicitation and documentation, and the frameworks to produce quality software development and implementations.
Since 2008, Roger has formally trained over 3,100 professionals in the areas of project management, business analysis, and quality assurance. He has instructed over 320 courses in class room as well as virtual environments, and has maintained an average score of 4.8 out of 5 as rated by his class participants.
Roger has been a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since July 2011, and achieved his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in August 2011. Roger has also been a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) since July 2008, and achieved his Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification in July 2010.
Roger uses his extensive and diverse background to lead organizations and train individuals in getting the job done right, the first time, by following the right processes, involving the right people, and providing effective communication, training, and mentorship for “Quality Project and Service Delivery”.
